Theme your dashboard
Your sellers and staff spend their working day in the Traide dashboard. You can brand it as your marketplace rather than leaving it generic — the logo, the icon, the browser favicon, and the accent color used throughout the interface.
Changing the dashboard theme requires the Manage storefronts permission. If the card described below isn't visible in your settings, ask a marketplace operator to grant it. See How permissions work.
Set your theme
- In the dashboard, navigate to Settings.
- Under General, select Dashboard Theme.
- Set any of the four options below.
- Select Save.
Changes apply to everyone who signs in to your marketplace's dashboard, sellers included.
Primary color
The accent color used across the dashboard interface. Pick it with the color picker, or enter a hex value directly if you're matching an existing brand palette.
Logo
The main logo, shown where there is room for a full wordmark. Recommended size is 800 × 200 px — a 4:1 landscape ratio.
Square icon
A square version of your mark, used where the layout is too narrow for the full logo. Recommended size is 200 × 200 px.
Set this as well as the logo. They are used in different places, and a marketplace that sets only the wide logo will fall back to a default icon in the narrow spots.
Favicon
The small icon browsers show in the tab and in bookmarks. This is the one that tells a seller which tab is your dashboard when they have a dozen open.
Practical notes
- Upload square images as squares. The square icon and favicon are not cropped for you; an oblong image uploaded into either slot will look wrong rather than being centered.
- Test the primary color against text. The accent color is used behind white text in places such as buttons. A very light color will make those labels hard to read.
- This is the dashboard only. Your storefront's appearance is configured separately — see Edit storefront settings.
