What's New at Traide

Import your catalog from a CSV

Getting a catalog into a marketplace is usually the first hard problem. Traide's CSV import now handles the messy reality of somebody else's spreadsheet:

  • Column mapping with suggestions. Point the importer at your file and it proposes which of your columns map to which Traide fields — including awkward ones like SKU Code — and you correct anything it got wrong. Save the mapping as a profile and reuse it next time.
  • Stage and validate before loading. Rows are staged and validated first, so you see exactly what would happen — and what would fail, and why — before anything touches your live catalog.
  • Products, variants, attributes, stock and media in one pass. A single file can create the whole shape of a product, not just its name and price.
  • Safe to re-run. Loading is idempotent: importing the same file twice updates rather than duplicating, so a partial import is fixed by correcting the file and running it again.
  • Import on behalf of a seller. Marketplace operators can import into any seller's catalog.
