What's New at Traide

Get ready for AI shopping agents

AI shopping agents — Google AI Mode and Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and custom agents — increasingly discover and buy on a shopper's behalf. Traide now implements the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), and hosts the agent-facing endpoints for your tenant: a business profile describing your capabilities, the checkout and order endpoints agents call to buy, and a sitemap and llms.txt for crawlers.

You keep building your storefront and checkout exactly as you do today. What's on you is small and optional: a redirect from /.well-known/ucp on your own domain to your Traide agent host, product structured data, and a robots.txt that doesn't accidentally block agents. The structured-data and robots.txt guidance works today.

Rolling out

The tenant agent host and its /agent/* endpoints are being enabled marketplace by marketplace. Your Traide representative will confirm when your tenant's host is live — the storefront-side steps in the guide are worth doing before then.
